Is this compatible and does it fit a late 2011 macbook pro to replace the sata disk hard drive?
Yes. The "Unibody" MacBook Pro models are compatible with a 2.5-inch (notebook) SATA drive at as much as 9.5mm thick. This KingFast SSD is the 7mm form factor, however, I don't think it's significant because Apple uses the screw heads to hold the drive in place. You can view the installation (instructions) for free at OWC -- the "Early 2011" revision is identical in procedure to your "Late 2011"
